Kids Engineer!


In 2011, I created Kids Engineer! an after school program that combined my product design background, love of working with children and interest in merging science, technology and creativity. Geared to students in 1st — 4th grade. Kids Engineer! teaches principals of engineering through design and invention-building fun.

Since its start, Kids Engineer! has been a lively and popular after school class at three all-girls schools in New York City. The extraordinary Brearley School teacher Kathryn Hunter has been my co-teacher from the beginning. Here below are just a few examples of our science, design and technology projects.
